Derby Homes puts Softworks Workforce Management Solution to work

Derby Homes, a 100% owned subsidiary of Derby City Council, Derby, United Kingdom has completed the rollout of a new Workforce Management Solution from Softworks. The solution is being used to manage Flexible Working, Time and Attendance, Expenses and employee Task Tracking. The contract was awarded to Softworks following a competitive tender process.

Derby Homes manages just under 13,000 properties on behalf of Derby City Council as well as properties owned by themselves and other landlords. They also manage the Council’s Housing Options, Derby Advice and Homelessness services. Derby Homes implemented Softworks Time and Attendance, Absence and Holiday tracking, Flexible Working, Expenses, Employee Self-Service, Alerts/Reporting and Project Tracking modules as part of the new Workforce Management solution for their 600 employees.

Commenting on the project, Mary Holmes, Project Manager – Housing Management and Housing Options, Derby Homes said:

The ability to use the solution on mobile devices has helped staff log time more easily and the feedback from internal users has been very favourable.

Managers love the email alert functionality! Tracking of leave requests is easier as is the ability to do our own reporting.
