The Role

The digital marketing and event specialist will be responsible for helping Softworks to grow its presence. This will offer a dynamic role within a growing technology company. Reporting to the Marketing Lead, duties will include performing market research, deploying digital marketing campaigns and overseeing marketing events both internally and externally.

The Candidate:
As our Digital Marketing & Event Specialist, you will drive the Company’s digital presence to boost brand awareness while increasing traffic to acquire new customers. You will provide confidence that up to date technologies are being used to optimise our digital marketing efforts. You will join a high performing team, exhibiting at shows around the world and contributing to the thought leadership strategy and brand awareness activities. In addition to this, you will have the opportunity to be involved at the early stages of identifying exciting new markets/ opportunities for the Company.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns from planning and implementing through to monitoring results.
  • Researching advertising and content distribution opportunities throughout primary markets.
  • Email creation and distribution across various levels of the marketing funnel and presenting results and making recommendations how to increase success in the future.
  • Designing creatives across social media, digital advertising and content distribution tools.
  • Monitor the market for events that would be suitable for Softworks and perform analysis and make recommendations.
  • Keeping up to date with current digital trends.
  • Implementing good data hygiene habits into the database and maintaining with data privacy top of mind.
  • Supporting webinars and other digital events.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Qualification in marketing, communications or business related area.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Team player.
  • Work well independently.
  • Marketing automation skills are a nice to have but not essential.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • 2+ years experience in a marketing role or a related discipline.

Location
Hybrid working – one day a week in our Bray office mandatory (Co. Wicklow) with option to be fully office-based if desired. This role will require some international travel.
