Due to the continued success and expansion of the company, we are hiring Project Manager/Support Specialists. Remotely based, the candidate can ideally be based anywhere along the West Coast, USA as they will be working from home with some travel to new project meetings each month.

The Softworks Project Manager/Support Specialist (PM/SS) is results focused and experienced in working across industry verticals. The PM group manages and co-ordinates a well thought out delivery process which adheres to a variation of experience managing parallel project implementations. The PM will take a balanced and measured view of implementing projects and aligning customer requirements within available project resources, both from the customer point of view and a Softworks point of view.
In addition and perhaps most importantly, the candidate should be commercially aware. Although not a sales role, having the ability to spot the opportunities for up-selling is a differentiator.
The PM is comfortable working with customers, steering and guiding them through the process of Workforce Management projects and will typically be responsible for:
- understanding the required solution
- technically implementing the solution
- co-ordinate other technical staff to deliver
The PM is responsible to be the liaison between the client and Softworks internal team (development, engineering, training, etc.), well versed in delivering client specific and out of the box requirements across industry verticals and into medium to large enterprise customers.
The PM will be responsible for formulating the software solution utilising standard product mixed with custom elements, always taking an optimal approach during implementation to ensure a quick and successful go live always focused on delivering on time and to budget.
The role is customer facing and will require a portion of time supporting existing clients via phone support and site visits along with supporting the sales organization as we grow in this marketplace.The candidate will also be responsible for interviewing and growing the team as required.This role will require regular day travel and occasional overnight national and international travel.
The typical PM will have upwards of 5+ years’ industry experience and hold:
- Bachelor’s Degree- Project Management qualifications
- A proven track record in project delivery
- Knowledgeable in Workforce Management (an advantage)
- Full clean drivers’ license

Salary: Commensurate with experience
Vacation: Annual entitlement 23.5 days plus service entitlement, an additional day’s vacation added after 1, 3 and 5 years full service
